We've received confirmation that the Flash 2 is getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow before the end of April. Once everything is ironed out, the upgrade will be pushed to all Flash 2 devices via OTA update. The Flash 2 was released in the Philippines last September 2015 with a suggested retail price of Php6,190. As for the Flash Plus, there is very slim chance that it will get Android 6.0 Marshmallow as no efforts are being done now towards that direction. The Alcatel Flash2 comes in a premium packaging which is unlikely for a mid-ranger phone. Alcatel is putting up a good impression even before you unbox the device. The Alcatel Flash2 is a 5-inch mid-range smartphone that runs on an ARM Cortex A53 1.3GHz octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM.
