Amazon silently launched a lightweight internet browser for Android called 'Internet' which is designed for entry-level devices with limited memory. The Internet touts itself as a fast, lite, and private web browser. The Internet web browser has been around since last month and is currently available for the Indian market. Amazon may launch its satellite internet service, called Project Kuiper (also known as Amazon LEO), in the Philippines as early as this year, according to Henry Aguda. Project Kuiper uses low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites to provide internet access, especially in areas with limited or no connection. If launched, it could give Filipinos another option for faster and more reliable internet, especially in remote locations. Amazon has been working on Project Kuiper as part of its plan to expand internet access worldwide. Like Starlink, the service aims to use a network of satellites to deliver internet directly to users on the ground.
