Amazon silently launched a lightweight internet browser for Android called ‘Internet‘ which is designed for entry-level devices with limited memory.
The Internet touts itself as a fast, lite, and private web browser. It’s only less than 2MB in size, doesn’t ask for extra permissions or collect data, and comes with private tabs so website vists are not recorded. It supports Android devices from Lollipop and up.
The Internet web browser has been around since last month and is currently available for the Indian market. See Play Store listing here.
