It was also reported that Amazon will be using Nokia Maps to add navigation services to the new Fire which means that the new tablet will have GPS. One thing I can be sure of is that the Kindle Fire 2 will be priced aggressively like the original Fire to compete with other 7-inchers out there. Amazon has refreshed its Kindle Scribe series, unveiling a redesigned model with front light, a budget version without one, and the first-ever Kindle Scribe Colorsoft. Amazon is also rolling out new AI tools like Story So Far (spoiler-free summaries) and Ask this Book (answers based on highlights), coming to Kindle devices and the iOS app. It seems that Amazon has plans on ditching the Android on the Fire OS for a Linux-based one. This means Amazon's Fire TV sticks and tablets, Echo Show and other devices that use the Fire OS may be changed soon.
