Amazon has refreshed its Kindle Scribe series, unveiling a redesigned model with front light, a budget version without one, and the first-ever Kindle Scribe Colorsoft.

All models are slimmer at 5.4mm, lighter at 400g, and powered by a faster chip with improved display tech for smoother writing and quicker page turns. The 11-inch glare-free screen now feels more natural to write on thanks to reduced parallax and texture-molded glass.
The highlight is the Colorsoft model, which introduces Amazon’s new color display technology for soft, eye-friendly tones and a new rendering engine for richer visuals, while still delivering weeks of battery life.
Amazon is also rolling out new AI tools like Story So Far (spoiler-free summaries) and Ask this Book (answers based on highlights), coming to Kindle devices and the iOS app.
The new lineup starts at $429.99( PHP 24,983 ) – no front light, $499.99 ( PHP 29,049 ) with front light, and $629.99 ( PHP 36,601 )- Colorsoft. U.S. sales begin later this year, with the UK and Germany in early 2026.
