After alleged plans last year to expand its presence in Asia, Amazon seems to be ready to launch in Singapore as early as this week, according to a report from TechCrunch.  The Singapore launch will see Amazon Prime and Prime Now fast delivery in addition to Amazon's regular service. The Southeast Asian market has been dominated by Alibaba since its purchase of Lazada in 2016. This launch could potentially lead to Amazon entering the Philippine market later on, with Singapore as the main hub. HONOR Philippines won 24 awards at the HONOR Southeast Asia Summit 2026, recognizing its performance, growth, and impact in the region. The event gathered leaders and partners from across Southeast Asia to review progress and honor top-performing markets. The awards were presented by George Zheng, CEO of HONOR Southeast Asia. Infinix and MOONTON Games have expanded their partnership to support Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) esports tournaments across Southeast Asia, bringing more events and community programs to the region. According to MLBB Esports, the partnership will help provide consistent gaming equipment and support for players competing in mobile esports events across Southeast Asia. While the US remains TikTok Shop’s top market, Southeast Asia has emerged as its fastest-growing region, led by Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
