AMD has officially unveiled the Radeon RX 9050, expanding its Radeon RX 9000 desktop graphics card lineup with a new entry-level RDNA-based GPU aimed at 1080p gaming. AMD recommends pairing the card with a 450W power supply. AMD also published its own gaming benchmarks for the Radeon RX 9050 at 1080p using medium settings. Compared to the Radeon RX 9060, the RX 9050 has fewer Compute Units and Stream Processors, positioning it as the entry-level model in AMD's Radeon RX 9000 desktop GPU family. Price and Availability AMD has not yet announced the official price of the Radeon RX 9050. A multi-year deal between AMD and Meta has been revealed to expand Meta's AI infrastructure with up to 6 gigawatts of AMD Instinct GPUs. The system will operate through custom-built AMD Instinct MI450 GPUs which work together with 6th Generation AMD EPYC Venice and future Verano processors. Meta's MTIA accelerator program will use AMD ROCm software to enhance both performance and efficiency.
