#Android 12 Beta 5

Google has officially unveiled the Android 12 Beta 5 update, signaling the final version before its official release. The Android 12 Beta 5 update comes with an all-new privacy dashboard, microphone and camera indicators, microphone and camera toggles, clipboard read notification, stretch overscroll, app splash screens, and keygen changes. It also includes improved stability for Android 12’s new core features such as Game Mode for optimized gameplay, AppSearch, which provides a high-performance on-device search engine, Splash Screen API for new app launch animations; and enhanced camera, storage, connectivity, privacy, and media settings. The Android 12 Beta 5 update is available for download for Pixel smartphones and select Google partner devices. Google revealed that the official Android 12 launch is coming in the weeks ahead. Google has released Beta 2 of Android 17. Google's Android 17 Beta 2 brings new features focused on privacy, security and easier app development. Android 17 also improves cross-device support with a new handoff feature.
