#Android 12L new features

Android tablets are making the buzz along with foldable becoming mainstream devices, which made Google revive the Android 12L. With this, Google introduces Kids Space and Entertainment Space on tablets, and spotlighted apps to remain "connected, entertained, and productive." Alongside those features, Google introduces a new layout for tablets and foldable with a bigger screen and allocates that space with more relevant information. For those setting up a new device, information will be available with a two-column layout allowing users to customize features without having to go in and out of each section. Beginning later this year, Android 12L will gradually be brought to tablets and foldables with planned updates from Samsung, Lenovo, and Microsoft as they build features and functionalities to maximize the potential of larger screen devices in Android 13 and beyond. Google has just announced a new version of Android 12 that is catered to larger screen sizes called, Android 12L. Android 12L will focus on tablets, foldables, and ChromeOS devices. The new android version also introduces a new taskbar that allows users to switch between different apps. Android 12L is set to release in early 2022, but the new features are now available on the 12L developer preview page.
