A recent article shared how Android 15 features smartphone tracking even if your device is powered off. This is possible through the software with Bluetooth connectivity embedded in phone memory, enabling its detection even when unused. However, this feature has a prerequisite in maintaining Bluetooth while the phone’s off, which does require a small power reserve. So in essence, integrating this feature needs a bit of mindfulness and from users to leave Bluetooth on after usage. While this feature is supposedly aligned with the debut of the Pixel 9, it appears as the feature is inclusive with Pixel 8 through the Android 15 update. Google has just announced a new version of Android 12 that is catered to larger screen sizes called, Android 12L. Android 12L will focus on tablets, foldables, and ChromeOS devices. The new android version also introduces a new taskbar that allows users to switch between different apps.
