As is customary after announcing the hardware, Google officially outs the latest version of its mobile operating system Android 6.0 or more commonly known as Android Marshmallow. Unsurprisingly, the newly-launched Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P and Pixel C will come pre-installed with Android Marshmallow out of the box. As for the older Nexus smartphones and tablets, not to mention the Nexus Player, Google stated that it plans to roll out the new version of Android starting next week. Google has just announced a new version of Android 12 that is catered to larger screen sizes called, Android 12L. Android 12L will focus on tablets, foldables, and ChromeOS devices. The new android version also introduces a new taskbar that allows users to switch between different apps. Android 12L is set to release in early 2022, but the new features are now available on the 12L developer preview page. All you have to do is download the Android 12L emulator to get started.
