The Unicode Consortium has completed its emoji list for 2020, adding a total of 117 new emojis. In the Emoji 13 update, 62 new emojis such as pinched fingers, disguised face, ninja, smiling face with tear, bubble tea, and the transgender flag will be added. There are also 55 gender and skin-tone variants to be added to make up for the total 117 new emojis. The expected release of these new emojis is in the second half of 2020. Emojipedia predicts Android to release these first in beta around August, while iOS and macOS are anticipated to release the new emojis in October or November.
