Google has announced at Google I/O 2017 that its latest Android version, Android O, is now available in Public Beta, allowing users with supported devices to test the software on their primary phone or tablet. The Public Beta is actually the Android O Developer Preview 2 and is Google's first beta-quality candidate of the OS. Devices that you opt-in to the program will receive an over-the-air (OTA) update to the latest beta version of Android O. Apple has released the first public beta versions of its upcoming software updates, allowing users to try iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27 Golden Gate, and watchOS 27 ahead of their official release later this year.
