Google today launches the first batch of Android One devices namely the Karbonn Sparkle V, Micromax Canvas A1, and Spice Dream Uno. It is the company’s plan “to bring high-quality smartphones to as many people as possible.” Users with Android One devices also get updates straight from Google without having the need to wait for manufacturers. They currently run on Android KitKat, but will be the first phones to receive the Android L update. A massive slice of phones sold here runs on Snapdragon 4-series or Dimensity 6000-series chips.
