The Apple Vision Pro has just been released in the United States, which is one of Apple’s most ambitious products to date. Apple CEO Tim Cook noted that “The Apple Vision Pro is the most advanced consumer electronics device ever created. The Apple Vision Pro features a high-resolution micro-OLED display system comprising two displays. Apple reiterated that this equates to more than a 4K TV for each eye or around 23 million pixels across both displays. Apple mentioned that the Vision Pro’s built-in earbuds also support specs like Dolby Atmos and lossless audio. It will run on Apple’s first spatial operating system, called visionOS, and will be powered by custom Apple silicon with a dual-chip design. The headset also has additional features like HDR and ‘wide color’ deliver superb images into a user’s field of view.
