Apple is partnering with Google to power their next AI features. Apple has announced a multiyear partnership with Google to power upcoming AI features. The deal will use Google’s Gemini models as the foundation for Apple’s future AI capabilities. "After careful evaluation, Apple determined that Google's Al technology provides the most capable foundation for Apple Foundation Models and is excited about the innovative new experiences it will unlock for Apple users," Google has announced in their blog post. Apple and Google have collaborated, with the use of Bluetooth technology, to reduce the spread of COVID-19. While public health authorities, universities, and other NOs have been developing contract tracing technology, Apple and Google have collaborated to create a comprehensive solution by using Bluetooth Low Energy technology. In the coming months, Apple and Google will be working to create a Bluetooth-based contact tracing platform so more users will be able to participate. Both Apple and Google are stressing on their collaboration's security, stating that no personally identifiable information will be collected.
