Apple has just released an update to its iOS 8. The version 8.1.1 specifically targets the older Apple products such as the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 to make them perform faster. Apple recognized this and made them push this 8.1.1 update that includes “bug fixes, increased stability and performance improvements for iPad 2 and iPhone 4S.” It's nice of Apple to still come out with updates for their older models and aren't just using their resources on new phones and tablets. Apple has released the second developer beta of iOS 27. Apple says AirPort Utility will no longer be available for new downloads on iOS 27 and existing users may experience compatibility issues with the app. Moreover, the company also revealed that both iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini in Purple ship with the latest iOS 14.5, which features the ability to unlock iPhone with Apple Watch while wearing a face mask, an enhanced Apple Podcasts app with a redesigned show and episode pages, and a Search tab, as well as new emoji.
