Just got a call from the PR Manager of Apple Asia informing me about the official launch of the Apple Online Store in the Philippines. This confirms the story I wrote earlier about the Apple Store. The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) has restored access to its mobile app and online banking platform following a service disruption on July 15. Later on, the bank confirmed that its app and online banking services were already fully restored. Xiaomi has officially launched its online store in the Philippines, giving local customers a new way to buy its products directly from the brand. The online store also features Mi Points redemption, allowing users to earn and use points for discounts and other perks. With the launch of its official online store, Xiaomi expands its direct-to-consumer presence in the Philippines, making its products and after-sales services more accessible to local buyers. Apple has loosened its grip on retro console emulators within the App Store.
