Ascent, a helicopter ride-sharing service, has recently launched in the Philippines. The Department of Transportation (DOTr) attended Ascent's media launch, welcoming the platform as an alternative means in traveling through the metro quickly. The Ascent Helicopter Service can take passengers to and from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Pasay City, Mandaluyong, Makati, Bonifacio Global City, Quezon City, Clark in Pampanga, and Tagaytay City in Cavite. Each person using Ascent is allowed to bring carry-on luggage that weighs a maximum of 10 kilograms. Ascent currently accepts payments made through Paypal and Dragonpay.
