Had this large monitor by Asus for a couple of weeks now but have not had the time to unbox it. So I checked it out again and saw it's not your ordinary kind of PC monitor - the Asus ProArt PA246Q is one of those rare, professional-grade monitors. Asus Philippines will finally launch the newer edition of its Eee PC series this week. After last month's launching at Computex in Taiwan, Asus is bringing here the 10-inch Eee PC 1000. From the Asus website, looks like they'd be coming out with 6 shiny colors of the Asus Eee PC -- Red, Green, Black, Peony White, Pearl White and Fine Ebony. Other models released earlier in Taiwan but will not be available locally are the Asus Eee PC 1000H, 1000HD, 901 and 904HD. First announced at the CES 2008, the Asus R50A ultra mobile PC may be the most feature-packed ultraportable out there. This UMPC (the successor to the Asus R2H) is also one of the first ones to run an Intel Atom CPU (1.33 GHz).
