Check-out what to expect from the updated ASUS ROG Ally X! The ROG Ally X boasts a 7-inch FHD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of peak brightness, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The ASUS ROG Ally was easily one of the devices I really enjoyed reviewing last year. As good as the ROG Ally was, it wasn’t perfect. Thankfully, ASUS has been listening, and this year they have addressed those issues with the new ROG Ally X. On the outside, it looks very much like the ROG Ally we’ve all come to love. ASUS ditched the ROG XG Mobile external GPU port on the Ally X in favor of adding an additional USB-C port. Some might like the bigger M1 and M2 buttons on the original ROG Ally, but I personally prefer the smaller buttons on the ROG Ally X since they don’t get in the way.
