ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has unveiled the new ROG Strix SCAR 15 and 17 laptops, sporting up to a 12th-gen Intel Core i9-12900H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti laptop GPU at 150W with Dynamic Boost. The Strix SCAR line is available in 15-inch and 17-inch models, with the 15-inch offering three IPS-level display choices: QHD 240Hz, FHD 300Hz, and QHD 165Hz. ASUS ROG Philippines has recently unveiled the local pricing of its latest gaming laptops under the Strix series - the 2021 Strix SCAR 15 & 17 and the Strix G15 & G17. The latest ROG Strix SCAR laptops sports a display with up to 300Hz refresh rate and 3ms response while driven by an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX processor, up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080. The ROG Strix SCAR 15 and 17 also feature a new body style inspired by athletic gear, translucent materials and customizable chassis, and lighting upgrades. However, the ROG Strix G15 and G17 are equipped with up to an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 graphics, up to 32G of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage. On the other hand, the ROG Strix G15 and G17 come with a bundle worth PHP 15,000, including the ROG Strix Impact Gaming Mouse, ROG Backpack, PD Adapter, and Windows Home & Student 2019.
