According to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), ASUS has recalled 10,000 ASUS ROG Maximus Z690 Hero Motherboards as it is a fire and burn hazard. ASUS Z690 Hero motherboards that were affected had serial numbers starting in MA, MB, and MC — a serial number which you can find on a label next to the 24-pin ATX power connector or the box.
