ASUS just dropped the price of their first local 18:9 device, the Zenfone Max Plus M1. The Zenfone Max Plus M1 was released in early January as ASUS' first local 18:9 device. ASUS has been consistently dropping hints ahead of the launch of their ZenFone Max Plus M1 device, which is set to land in the Philippines this month. The smartphone is said to pack features that are akin to the ZenFone Max series while keeping up with the mid-range competition such as an 18:9 aspect ratio display, face unlock, dual rear cameras, and long battery life. The 18:9 device is speculated to head to the Philippines as the ASUS Zenfone Max Plus M1, bearing almost similar specs with the one launched in China just last month. The said smartphone is named the ZenFone Max Plus M1, although it closely resembles the ASUS Pegasus 4S that was made exclusive to the Chinese market a few months ago. The ASUS ZenFone Max Plus M1 is rumored to be powered by Mediatek's MT6750T Octa-core processor, the same one found on the Pegasus 4S.
