Beep has teamed up with Mastercard to bring another contactless payment in public transport such as Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3), and Edsa and Bonifacio Global City busses.   Through Beep's network, cardholders may use their Mastercard debit, prepaid or credit cards in Philippine public transport without needed to pay for a ticket for entry. This partnership with Beep will help enhance the commuting experience for all Mastercard cardholders. Beep continues to expand as they have announced its soon to be compatibility with the northern toll roads. Motorists passing through the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) can pay at toll booths with Beep cards by early 2017. When this gets implemented, the expressways of the north will join CAVITEX which started to accept Beep sometime in Q3 2016.
