Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) announces the new Bluetooth 5.0 which promises four times the range and with double the speed of the current version. It's also been reported that connectionless data transfers could be Bluetooth 5.0's most important feature. These, among others, are what we could be looking forward to when the Bluetooth 5.0 officially makes it to devices late this year or early next year. There is also Deep Track 5.0 AI subject tracking, PureVideo low-light technology and a detachable 2-inch OLED touchscreen for remote monitoring and control.
