BPI has recently started the charging of fund transfer to other banks via InstaPay and unenrolled BPI accounts. As stated on the bank's online advisory on Facebook, customers will be charged PHP 25 for every fund transfer to other banks via InstaPay. Those who will transfer money to unenrolled  BPI accounts will also be charged PHP 10. This includes transferring funds to an enrolled BPI account and to a BPI account via QR code, paying bills to enrolled merchants, loading prepaid accounts, and topping up to PayMaya and GCash. BPI has issued an advisory about new fees that will be implemented on some BPI Online and Mobile app features. BPI encourages its clients to enroll 3rd party accounts to continue using its fund transfer services at no cost. Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is set to introduce international money transfers through its mobile banking app, following a partnership with Visa aimed at making cross-border transactions faster and more affordable for Filipinos.
