It was posted on a Facebook page last June 30 that a state university from Bataan is now an official and first Academic Partner of Unreal Engine in the Philippines. It can also be confirmed on the official website of Unreal Engine for Academic Partners that the Bataan Peninsula State University is included. Unreal Engine is a complete suite of creation tools for game development, architectural and automotive visualization, linear film and television content creation, broadcast and live event production, training and simulation, and other real-time applications. Games such Fortnite and Little Nightmares were made using the Unreal 4 Game engine. Epic Games has released its next-generation game engine, Unreal Engine 5. In a State of Unreal event earlier today, the company revealed that Unreal Engine 5 is available for download. Epic has also said that Unreal Engine 5 will come with an updated UI and practical tools, like the ability to partition off sections of an open world to make it easier for teams to work on different areas at the same time. First is Lyra Starter Game, which is a sample gameplay project built alongside Unreal Engine 5 to serve as a starting point for creating new games, as well as a hands-on learning resource.
