Bungie is based in Bellevue, Washington and has more than 900 employees, known for creating the aforementioned games, the company is currently focused on continuing the development of the highly successful Destiny 2. “Bungie has created and continues to evolve some of the world’s most beloved videogame franchises and, by aligning its values with people’s desire to share gameplay experiences, they bring together millions of people around the world,” said Kenichiro Yoshida, Chairman, President and CEO, Sony Group Corporation. Bungie will be an independent subsidiary of Sony Interactive Entertainment and will be run by its Board of Directors chaired by Pete Parsons and Bungie’s current management team. The Lyceum of the Philippines University, in partnership with ESports and gaming talent agency Tier One Entertainment, might offer the first Bachelor of Science degree in ESports this year.
