Meta has introduced Meta Business Agent, a new AI-powered tool designed to help businesses automate customer interactions across WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram. Businesses can also customize the agent to match their brand voice and communicate in multiple languages. Meta said more than one million businesses are already using its AI agents on WhatsApp and Messenger, with over one billion business-related conversations taking place daily across WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram. Alongside the launch, Meta unveiled the Meta Business Agent Platform, which allows businesses to build, customize, and deploy AI agents at scale. The company is also expanding Business Agent support to Instagram and plans to introduce subscription-based offerings in the coming months.
