Canva is rolling out a major update to its Visual Suite, introducing several new tools aimed at turning the platform into an all-in-one workspace. Among the highlights are Canva Sheets, a new spreadsheet app with built-in AI, and Canva Code, a generative coding assistant. Canva Sheets takes a more visual approach to spreadsheets, allowing users to combine text, data, and images in a single view. Canva Code functions like GitHub Copilot or Google’s Gemini Code Assist. Users can input simple prompts to generate websites, widgets, or other interactive elements — no coding required. Furthermore, a new AI chatbot pulls Canva’s generative features into a single interface. This update builds on Canva’s push into office productivity, following earlier launches like Canva Docs and Canva Whiteboards. Canva will gradually roll out Canva Sheets and Canva Code in phases "over the coming months."
