Canva has introduced new features at its Canva Create 2026 event, including Canva Offline, a tool that lets users create and edit designs without an internet connection. The new offline feature allows users to open files, edit designs, and use local images even when they are not connected to the internet. Canva said this update answers one of the most common requests from users. A new Canva Brand System is now available inside Affinity, allowing designers to create brand assets and sync them to Canva. For creative professionals, Canva made its motion design tool Cavalry free to use. Canva also launched Learn Grid, a feature for teachers that can create classroom materials using AI in different languages. Canva has officially launched Offline Mode, allowing users to create and edit designs without an internet connection. First unveiled at Canva Create earlier this year, the feature is now rolling out globally to all users at no extra cost.
