Multiple lanes along the Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX) will experience temporary closure from August 6 to 10 to give way for the LRT-1 Extension Project. (LRMC), has announced that there will be a temporary lane closure along CAVITEX (southbound) near Paranaque bridge starting September 15 to give way to pipe relocation works by Maynilad as part of the construction of the LRT-1 Cavite Extension. LRCMC said that the construction activities for the 11.7-kilometer LRT-1 Cavite Extension project are currently in various stages of development and has reached a 40% completion rate since civil works started in September 2019 for the project aspects within LRMC's scope. “LRMC has been in close partnership with Maynilad and CAVITEX Infrastructure Corporation for the necessary activities to prepare the foundation for LRT-1 Cavite Extension. LRT-1 private operator Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) has announced that the LRT-1 Cavite Extension Phase 1 viaduct is now complete. Phase 1 of the 11.7km LRT-1 Cavite Extension project covers a total of five (5) stations: Dr. Once completed, the LRT-1 Cavite Extension project is expected to benefit the residents in Southern Metro Manila, the province of Cavite, and nearby areas.
