SpaceX, Tesla, and Twitter CEO Elon Musk and Apple Co-founder Steve Wozniak, and a slew of other tech personalities, have joined the call to pause giant AI experiments amid concerns their longterm effects may become unmanageable. In an open letter to all AI labs, the signatories call the immediate pause for at least 6 months of the training of AI systems that are more powerful than Microsoft and OpenAI's GPT-4. OpenAI has just announced its first-ever subscription plan for ChatGPT with ChatGPT Plus. According to OpenAI, those who subscribe to ChatGPT Plus will be able to receive a number of benefits such as: General access to ChatGPT, even during peak times Faster response times Priority access to new features and improvements ChatGPT Plus is priced at USD 20 per month and is only currently available to customers in the United States. ChatGPT is still available with free access to all users with ChatGPT Plus created to help support ChatGPT's free access availability. Microsoft has just revealed its all-new AI-powered Bing search engine and Microsoft Edge browser to allow users to chat as they would with ChatGPT by naturally asking questions and getting answers. The press event comes in recent news with Google as well having introduced their own rival to ChatGPT called "Bard" just yesterday.
