With Unionbank's decision to relinquish the Citi brand this year, the company is moving forward with shutting down Citibank Online and the Citi Mobile App. Users of Citibank Mobile App and Citibank Online will no longer be able to log in their systems starting 7PM of March 22. Citibank users may create UnionBank Online accounts through the UB Online App. This will allow current Citibank users to have continued access to their accounts. Kickstart Ventures Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Globe Telecom has recently invested $100K dollars or more than Php4M in startup online learning platform Kalibrr. Kalibrr is an online learning platform that is designed to help Filipinos qualify and land jobs in the local business process outsourcing (BPO) industry. Once users complete the online program (some of their graduates completed it in a week), Kalibrr refers them to its partner companies for a job interview.
