Lexar has recently stripped SanDisk off the “World’s Fastest Card” title when they unveiled the 256GB Professional 3333x CFast 2.0 CompactFlash card. The company’s new CFast 2.0 card tops the charts with its insane 500MB/s transfer rate which is significantly better than the SanDisk 120GB Extreme Pro CFast 2.0 CompactFlash card that held the title for a short period of time. Sadly, just like SanDisk’s CFast 2.0 card, the new Lexar’s new VPG-65 certified CF card is also not backwards-compatible with previous CompactFlash slots.
