Converge is now targeting small business owners and startups that are doing their own operations at their homes. Converges calls this HomeBase Plan which promises business-grade fiber plans to its customers. Currently, the new HomeBase Plan offers 2 kinds of plans, the HomeBase Plan 1500 which offers up to 100Mbps with a monthly service fee of PHP 1,500, and the HomeBase Plan 1899 which offers up to 150Mbps with a Monthly service fee of PHP 1,899. Same as other plans of Converge, VAT is already included in all rates, there’s a 24-month lock-in period, and an installation fee of PHP 2,500 for outright payment or PHP 3,000 if the customer chooses staggered payment. Also included is that the Dynamic P address is provided to all HomeBase plans. You can pre-order one from Smart here which is free on Data Lite Plan 500 and Php5,990 on prepaid. Globe Prepaid and TM subscribers can access the service through a Globe Starlink promo starting at PHP 99, while Globe Platinum and Postpaid users with Plan 1499 and above can use it at no extra cost. Today, three major players dominate the growing fiber prepaid market: PLDT Home Fiber Prepaid, GFiber Prepaid, and Converge Surf2Sawa.
