Facebook has partnered with the Department of Health (DOH) to launch the Eligibility QP and Covid-19 Profile Frames tools to the social media platform.  An in-feed notification will enable users to connect directly with the DOH information center. This new tool will help connect Facebook users to credible information regarding the COVID-19 vaccines including vaccine eligibility, appointments, and sign-up slots in their respective local communities. As well as provide DOH and more accessible means to address various questions regarding the vaccine.  “As access to COVID-19 vaccines expands, we’re partnering with the DOH to provide tools on Facebook in the Philippines, so people can check if they are eligible to get the vaccine, and where they can get vaccinated. This campaign provides a link to the DOH website where they can get authoritative information on vaccines,” said Clare Amador, Philippine Head of Public Policy at Facebook. In an attempt to spread awareness, Facebook is also introducing today the new COVID-19 vaccine profile frames, which come in two different styles: “I got my COVID-19  vaccine” and “Let’s get vaccinated”. All residents of Makati City have been recently announced to receive free vaccines against COVID-19. Makati City Mayor Abby Binay has announced on Twitter that free COVID-19 vaccines will be available and accessible to all Makatizens.
