Cherry Mobile’s competitively-priced Cubix Cube is currently on sale at Lazada starting today until the 23rd of the month. [Cubix Cube (Black)] [Cubix Cube (Gold)] During the launch of the Cherry Mobile Flare X , we also got to play around with the Cubix Cube, the new wallet-friendly octa-core from Cherry Mobile which will be available starting tomorrow noon at Lazada for Php4,490. The ample space sandwiching the Cubix Cube’s 5-inch On-Cell display are occupied by the usual set of components – a trio of capacitive buttons at the bottom and the handset’s earpiece and a 5-megapixel secondary camera at the top. Unlike what the press photos might suggest, the Cubix Cube actually have cheap-feeling removable back cover with a glossy finish (for the black model at least) which obviously attracts smudges and fingerprint marks like there’s no tomorrow. Holding the phone for the first time, we easily picked up on a hint of Apple-inspired design theme on the Cubix Cube with its flat back panel with white pinstripe and smooth rounded edges.
