The struggle to keep its relevance in a market dominated by camera phones gave birth to a new breed of cameras like Sony's QX smart lenses and the recently-announced Olympus Air. Lenovo has officially launched the X1 digital camera in China, offering an easy and budget-friendly option for users who want better photos than their smartphones. The camera features a 12MP Sony CMOS sensor and supports up to 18x digital zoom. Escura has unveiled SnapRoll, a blind box for a tiny digital camera that mimics the look of classic 135 film. SnapRoll is a lightweight digital camera designed to recreate the look of classic 135 film.
