#Digital ID Philippines

Filipinos can now access a digital version of their TIN ID through the eGovPH app. Users must also already have a digital TIN ID in the BIR system. With the digital version, users can now keep a copy of their TIN ID on their phone for easier use when needed. Cambodia’s Verify digital verification platform has been adopted by the Philippine government for use in its national digital identity system, benefiting more than 90 million citizens. The announcement was made by Cambodia’s Minister of Post and Telecommunications Chea Vandeth during the Digital Government Forum 2025. Philippine officials confirmed that the Verify platform’s architecture has been deployed in the country’s digital ID system. It aims to reduce document forgery, improve accessibility, and support digital transformation.
