Apple has launched a Digital ID that can be created through the Apple Wallet. Apple says that the Digital ID will be accepted in ‘select businesses and organizations for identity and age verification’ in the future. The company also added that ‘additional Digital ID acceptance use cases’ will come in the future. With the arrival of Google Pay and possible arrival of Apple Pay in the Philippines, the Digital ID could be a useful identification alternative. To use the Digital ID, double-click the side button or Home button to access your Apple Wallet. Next, select Digital ID and hold your iPhone or Apple Watch near an ID reader.
