MediaTek has just announced its newest mid-range chipset, the Dimensity 7200. The Dimensity 7200 is based on the same second-generation TSMC 4nm process found in the Dimensity 9200. The Dimensity 7200 carries HyperEngine 5.0 technology for gaming to deliver AI-based Variable Rate Shading and optimization for both CPU and GPU. Other features of the Dimensity 7200 include: Up to 6400Mbps memory frequency and UFS 3.1 for maximum storage. Mediatek says that the Dimensity 7200 will be available in smartphones by the first quarter of 2023.
