According to Globe, the service works by allowing compatible LTE smartphones with an active Globe SIM to connect directly to Starlink satellites once they are outside Globe's terrestrial network coverage and have a clear view of the sky. It supports 3x optical zoom, up to 12x hybrid zoom, 4K video recording at up to 240fps for slow-motion capture, standard 4K 60fps recording, and HDR recording in supported modes. Powering the device is a 1,545mAh battery rated for up to 210 minutes of use, depending on recording settings. According to a report by InsiderPH, the free fund transfers will be available through the BPI mobile app, BPI Online web platform, VYBE e-wallet, and BizKo, the bank's digital banking app for small businesses.
