Xbox Game Pass and Discord Nitro are getting new benefits as part of an expanded partnership between Xbox and Discord. Discord has announced that eligible Discord Nitro members will now receive a Starter edition of Xbox Game Pass in supported regions. Discord has also updated its interface to make it easier to jump into Game Pass titles. When users see a friend playing a game through Discord, they can select a new 'Play' button and choose Xbox Game Pass to start playing right away. Later this month, eligible Xbox Game Pass subscribers will begin receiving Discord Nitro benefits as well. These benefits include: 250 Discord Orbs every month 1.2x extra Orbs when completing Quests Automatic discounts in the Discord Shop More details on eligibility and regional availability will be announced through Xbox and Discord in the coming weeks. Discord has started testing a new feature called Watch Together. This development comes just after Discord removed music bots such as Rythm and Groovy Bot, two of the most popular tools for playing music from YouTube, Spotify, and other streaming services directly over Discord.
