Discord is now finally adding the ability to have a text chat in your server's voice channels. As it stands on Discord, the only way you would go about sharing something while in a voice channel with your friends are to either: DM it personally, post it in #general, or make a new text channel for voice channel spam. Now, Discord is now enabling users to have their own dedicated messaging space on each voice channel. A preview of each message will pop up each time someone posts in the voice channel's chat. All discord servers will be able to enjoy the Text chat within voice channels for free.
