Disney has launched its ad-supported version of Disney+ in the US, offering a "Basic" plan with ads that will cost $7.99 per month. Aside from now including ads, the Disney+ Basic Plan does not allow users to download content or stream offline. Disney's rollout of an ad-supported tier for Disney+ comes on the heels of fellow streaming service Netflix also releasing an ad-supported version earlier this year.
