HONOR is kicking off 2025 with a bang—or perhaps, a drop. HONOR is claiming it as #TheToughestPhone of the year, with the bold promise of surviving a 500-foot drop test. This follows the impressive durability and viral success of its predecessor, the HONOR X9b 5G, which survived a 200-foot drop test last year. Certified with an SGS 5-Star Drop Resistance rating, it can reportedly withstand two-meter drops, making it ideal for users who are prone to accidental mishaps. The HONOR X9c 5G also comes with an IP65M water resistance rating, allowing it to survive being submerged up to 25 cm for five minutes. HONOR isn’t stopping there—it’s even boasting heat resistance capabilities that can handle extreme temperatures from -40°C to 70°C. It also comes with dust and water resistance, SGS certification and support for up to three OS upgrades. Dropbox has recently released an updated version of its iOS app that allows user to add another level of security to their private documents through the use of TouchID sensor found on some of the iOS devices such as the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, as well as the two new iPads.
