We could soon see SpaceX establish itself in the Philippines even before the end of President Duterte's term. In a press release by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), DTI Secretary, Ramon M. Lopez said that the Philippine government is in full support of having SpaceX in the country. SpaceX would set up their internet service through their Starlink service and the use of low earth orbit (LEO) satellites. The aim of the DTI in launching the use SpaceX's satellites is before the end of President Duterte's term.
