Sony has announced two new colors for its PS5 DualSense controller — Midnight Black and Cosmic Red. We wanted the new controller colors to complement each other, as well as the original DualSense wireless controller and PS5 console, so we designed the colors around the theme of ‘galaxy’ as it felt like a natural progression from the original PS5 and accessories designs.” said Leo Cardoso, Senior Designer and CMF Design at PlayStation. Moreover, Sony PlayStation announced their excitement to share insight on how developers are taking advantage of the controller's unique features for their latest title Returnal as well as other new PS5 titles for a future blog. Sony announces that the PlayStation 5 will have a new controller. Dubbed as the DualSense, the wireless controller gives gamers a whole new level of immersive experience. The ergonomically designed controller retains some features from its predecessor, the DualShock 4, including the center touchpad, symmetrical controller layout with analog sticks, direction pad, face buttons, and light bar. Apart from its two-tone color scheme and minimalist looks, the DualSense also upgrades its hardware. A first for Sony's console controllers,  it is also equipped with a microphone and a USB-C port.
